Horseshoe nails...STILL one of my favorite materials to work with!
I domed a copper US penny and used it as the centerpiece of this bracelet....then added my bent, curved horseshoe nail links on each side; all connected with copper links. If you look closely at the photo, you'll see that the bracelet is asymmetrical...the straight part of the links face down/outside on the left, and up/inside on the right. LOL, it's not a mistake, it's meant to be that way :)
Measures approx. 7 1/4 inches in length. Lobster clasp.
Great unisex look whether you're a "horse person" or not....so if you need it longer or shorter just ask.

Horseshoe nails are made of steel....they can and will patina dark over time and with wear....don't worry, it looks really pretty this way! Keeping your horseshoe nail jewelry from getting wet will help delay the patina process...if your horseshoe nail jewelry does get wet, just dry thoroughly and use a small piece of fine steel wool to keep it bright if need be.
